Downtown Franklin Engagement Session

When Chloe first reached out to me about photographing this season of their lives, I was thrilled. She and James were looking to have their engagement session feel like a date day out. So we went to their favorite places to visit when they’re in downtown Franklin. To start, we picked up some coffee and tea at The Coffee House before taking a stroll down the residential streets. These literature lovers also had us visit the local bookshop in town: Landmark Booksellers. My personal favorite part of the session was when James and Chloe decided to read aloud the books of their choosing to each other. Their love for each other was so evident throughout and a joy to document. We ended their engagement photos up on the parking garage rooftop where we witnessed the most beautiful sunset. I love when couples choose everyday places for photographs. It adds a certain depth and meaning you can’t get elsewhere because there are a plethora of memories held there and that will be held there in the future.
