Margaret and Ben are two high school sweethearts that tied the knot in 2017. In March of 2021, they were overjoyed to find out that their little family would soon become a party of three in November! To celebrate their news of their baby on the way, I met up with Margaret and Ben in downtown Greenville, SC to take photos on the rooftop at sunset. These two have a peaceful presence and a deep connection. Between long laughs and bear hugs, it was a laid back, carefree kind of evening. Their little one is already so loved and lucky to have them!
After stepping into this season of motherhood in 2021 myself, I recognize the significance of these kind of images more than ever. It is an honor to step into a couple’s life and photograph such meaningful milestones and seasons. Photo sessions like this remind me why I love this job.
